From the Blog

Lots of hens who come to our workshop venue in Kentish Town, London for a flower crown making workshop live outside London. I am always asked if I know of any stylish hen party houses.

With brilliant transport links and a lot of fun hen party activities  London is the ideal location for a hen party. The latest thing in hen party accommodation is Hen Party Houses. More relaxing than a hotel, you can breakfast when you want to, hang out in the house, play your own music and have a boogie round the living room. From this house in Camden it’s a lovely walk to our Glam Hatters’ venue in Kentish Town. Come to us for a flower crown workshop and then on to the cocktail bars in Kentish Town! This is 1 of 3 posts on hen party accommodation in London.

Hen Party Houses in Camden Town, North London

I’m slightly biased towards Camden Town as I live 5 minutes up the road in Kentish Town. This town house is really lovely, and you can stroll over to our Kentish Town Glam Hatters’ venue for a crafty workshop and take in the sights along the way!

The house accommodates 14 guests across 5 bedrooms, has 4 bathrooms (massive tick for hen party girls getting ready for a night out), it also has a living room, dining room and garden (unheard of in Central London).

Hen Party Activities In Camden, London

Camden is popular for visitors and locals who gather to hunt for treasures in Camden’s markets. Take a stroll by Regent’s Canal, gaze at the beautiful buildings, sample cuisine from around the world. Or relax and listen to live music and soak up the vibrant and diverse atmosphere.

The labyrinthine open-air markets will keep the keenest shoppers busy, with everything from vintage to futuristic designs on offer. The individual markets are:

Camden Lock Market

Crafts, books, clothing, jewellery and fast food.

Camden Lock Village

Clothing and accessories, as well as a range of unusual items.

Camden Market

Originally Buck Street market, this sells fashion for all tastes.

Inverness Street Market

A few of the original fruit stalls remain, alongside clothing, footwear and souvenirs.

Stables Market

A mix of permanent shops and stalls selling household items, antiques, alternative clothing, food and much more. There is also an indoor fashion market at the Electric Ballroom, which is only open on Sundays.

Hen Party Music Venues in Camden

Camden has always been a hub for London’s live music scene, with legendary venues that have launched many big names. Check out Koko, the Underworld and Electric Ballroom to catch the latest bands. You can also see top jazz and blues performances at the Jazz Café or the Blues Kitchen.

See theatrical performances from top UK companies such as the RSC, as well as films, art installations and gigs at the Roundhouse. You can also catch comedy at the Camden Highlight or see an eclectic mix of fringe performances at the Etcetera theatre.

More Activities in and Around Camden Town

Check out edgy art exhibitions at the Cob Gallery, contemporary photography at Proud Camden or a huge range of modern visual arts at the highly-acclaimed Camden Arts Centre. You can explore Jewish life and heritage at the Jewish Museum. Lastly, I couldn’t do a post about Camden and not talk about Amy Winehouse. Pop into The Stables Market in Camden Town and you will see Amy immortalised by sculptor Scott Eaton.

Guys I hope you find this post on hen party houses useful. If you have an amazing house that you rent out for hen party accommodation or if you have a recommendation please do leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you.

Wishing you a fabulous London Hen Party!
