Last month we hosted a hen party for Sally and 21 of her friends in a 2 bedroom serviced apartment in The Southbank. We utilised every piece of furniture we could find including the suitcase table/holder! Hens sat on chairs, sofas, tables, the floor…. it was a lot of fun and very bubbly. As I said we can host a party anywhere. Rachael, Sally’s best friend and hen party organiser had done an amazing job of managing all the hens and giving the bride-to-be a fabulous day. They were so much fun that I asked her to write a little bit about their day. In her own words, here is Rachael’s account of the day…

The Hen Do of the century!

We arranged a serviced apartment at the Park Plaza with fabulous views over the Thames and Parliament… a great back drop to a great hen do! We started the day with making glam fascinators, which was a great ice breaker for those hens who didn’t know each other… and of course with lots of cheeky glasses of champs – every girl brought at least one! We did an afternoon tea too – sandwiches from pret-a-manger and cups of tea. Glamhatters kindly brought us lovely tea cups, plates and cake stands to make it special.

blog 5The rest of day was filled with a Mr and Mrs game – one wrong question and the hen got a shot of vodka and one question right then she got to hand out a JagerBomb! We made this a little bit more special by asking the fiancé to do a video of his answers, which we projected onto the wall – it was like he was in the room with us! So funny …. It actually made the hen cry!!!

After this was pin the penis on a picture of paul (the fiancé), which was just a sneaky way of blind-folding the hen whilst we got the stripper into the bathroom to change… what is a hen do without a stripper! Stripper was amazing, we booked one from dreamboys – he came in dressed as an officer and a gentleman – such a cliché, but we knew the hen would look sexy in his naval cap!

blog 6The girls also contributed to a photobook of pics from yester-year! Always a nice momento….

After all the fun and games, it was a touch up of make-up and carriages awaited to whisk us off to a salsa club in soho for dinner and dancing ……. And well, after this what happens on tour – stays on tour!!!!!!!

Needless to say hangovers all round on the Sunday, but what a day/night!!!!!!!!!”

blog 3Thank you Rachael for taking the time to tell us all about the day. We had so much fun with you guys and it’s lovely to see that you wore your fascinators to the wedding.
